A stunning new build home along the Belfast Lough coastline from renowned architect Des Ewing, with a substantial space allocated for the kitchen, living and dinning space the clients had no hesitation returning to designer Brian Parkes for their new home.  “Brian had designed our previous kitchen and there wasn’t anything we didn’t like about it; design, function and the service we received from start to finish.”  explained the homeowner.

The kitchen design is inspired by a kitchen in the showroom and was personalised it to suit the client and the overall scheme of the home.  The kitchen is a classic timeless design, the overall colour is a light hand painted finish on the cabinetry in Driftwood by Little Greene, the worktops are finished in Macaubas Quartzite that has lots of natural veining unique to each slab.

This bespoke kitchen features extra tall units, butler’s pantry, walk in pantry and hide and slide doors to reveal built in Miele ovens, the whole kitchen has a luxurious finish with brass detailing, marble worktop and splashback.  We love the Crittal-style door divider between the kitchen dinning area and adjoining living room within the wider open plan space.
