This is a new build home for clients Gareth and Tanya who were moving back to Northern Ireland from London. They were fortunate to buy the house at first fix stage so had the opportunity to finish the house exactly how they wanted to.
A three storey house with the kitchen located in the lower ground area of the house leading straight out into the garden; the clients knew they wanted a contemporary kitchen and opted for a cashmere gloss finish that provides lots of warmth and is complimented with tobacco oak styling throughout. A tall bank of units has been recessed into the wall to create the illusion of more floor space, the coffee machine is also recessed into a stud wall and has tobacco oak surround a shelf has been incorporated into the stud work and provides storage for coffee cups.
The large island has quartz worktops and a large induction hob with overhead extraction, the kitchen features two sinks one with the Quooker hot tap system. An abundance of storage is available throughout with extra wide drawers and a pull out larder and cooking options are provided by Siemens with a Steam oven, Combination oven and a Pyroclean oven; two warming drawers keep the symmetry even as well as additional space. The lowered bulk head in the ceiling has shadow lighting and gives the warmth and depth without the need for harsh overhead lighting. A media unit was designed in the living area using complimentary materials.
