This client’s newly built home was in complete contrast to their previous London townhouse. Starting from scratch, it allowed them to choose and influence every facet of design.
This Barbican Maple and Euorpean Walnut design is a perfect example of contemporary meets classic. The client was keen to incorporate their dining area into the kitchen, creating a sociable space ideal for entertaining.
The blend of woods create a rich feel. The ice blue was brought in to reflect the client’s favourite colour, and adds a lovely accent, while the feature breakfast bar forms a striking contrast to the warm wood tones.
The curved doors with the circular hard wood worktop finishes the island and the dresser and dining table complete the kitchen beautifully.
