Our designers have pulled out all the stops with this one and features all of the latest in kitchen trends. The worktops are ceramic and are made from a procelain ceramic surface with impressive functional properties. Previously only used in laboratories ceramic worktops have the highest resistance to heat, impacts, stains and scratches making them ideal for everyday use in the kitchen. The worktop is continued up the full height of the wall to provide a seemless finish.

The two wall units have a unique climber facility; this is an automatic open and close feature operated by a touch control. The door opens upward with a shutter effect and closes back down again. The door front benefits from having a really flush finish, and the use of glass adds a touch of class.

This is a redevelopment project of mammoth proportions, it has been completely transformed from the original layout. The brief for the kitchen was to make it the centre of the home with lots of areas to entertain and seat the many visitors that come to this family home.

The view over Belfast is breathtaking and in order to maximize it a booth was commissioned large enough to seat eight, it is a great feature for people who drop in for coffee or for less formal dinner parties. The high gloss white door is complimented by walnut door fronts and gable ends, the corian work surface works well keeping the kitchen simple and fresh. The glass breakfast bar with its’ unique cone shaped support provides more seating for the stream of social callers.

The impressive appliance list features a Blanco hot tap, Fisher and Paykel Double Dishwasher, a wine cooler, Neff Plate Warmer, Neff American Fridge Freezer, Neff Oven and Combination Microwave oven.

These clients had got a kitchen designed for their previous home but had decided to move instead. After a few years they came back to get a kitchen designed for their new home. The brief was a traditional kitchen, casual dining option that looked out over the countryside, a pantry and range cooker with an island.

The final design is a hand painted tulip wood in frame door, river white grantie worktops and an island featuring an oak worktop. The pantry provides and abundance of storage along with beautiful craftsmanship throughout. The kitchen maintains the bright airy feel of this room which is flooded with natural light during the day, the clients enjoy sitting at the island for their breakfast enjoying the view.

Some alterations were made in the room to accommodate the tall bank of units on the side wall, the door into the sitting room is still accessible. The dressser finishes this beautiful kitchen off and features wine rack and tongue and groove wall panelling.

The kitchen in this new build in Carryduff, is like many family kitchens – the centre of activity. Initially, this family were not keen to have an island in their new kitchen – until they saw this curved design with the deep Corian worktops. It is a perfect choice as it accommodates this very large worktop which comes in one piece, without the need for joints.

The island boasts some bespoke features such as the gas hob, which sitting flush with the worktops, creating a much cleaner fresher look. The large breakfast bar is practical for family life as everyone can sit at it together. There are virtually no cupboards in this kitchen – intelligent storage space in the form of deep drawers provides all the storage they need. The cabinets all have specially integrated dust seals on all the doors providing a cleaner kitchen.

Every door in this home leads back to the kitchen – it really is the heart of this home.

As featured in All Ireland Kitchen Guide Autumn/Winter 2007

These clients wanted the kitchen to become their downstairs living space, incorporating the kitchen furniture into the living and dining areas. The design enables the living spaces to flow seamlessly, keeping the space open, without interruption.

Manhattan high gloss latte with Chelsea walnut creates a modern look with a traditional feel – and most importantly, a solution to their requirements that is both functional and stylish.

There are two sink areas; a small preparation sink has been designed into the island worktop using Corian. Granite worktops compliment the Corian and create a lovely practical contrast.

Storage has been taken care of using the pull-out larder unit, maximising storage space. The use of the stainless steel inlays in the sides of the units highlights the unique design of this kitchen.

Winner of Kitchen Design Award at Ireland’s Kitchen Trade Awards 2011

This new build house in Lisburn involved quite an increase in space for this family from their previous home; their previous kitchen was a classic layout this design took them to the next level.

As it was a new build some alterations were made to the building from the outset; two openings were created underneath the stairs, one housed the tea station and the other a media area. Recessed blackberry glass storage units and matching glass wall panelling were used to house the plasma TV. The glass doors sit flush with the glass wall cladding behind the TV. The tea station neatly fits behind two folding, sliding doors. A false wall was created to house the tall units thus reducing the overall mass that would normally be created with so many tall units. A large L shaped kitchen such as this can sometimes end up feeling like two rooms in this instance the two islands have been designed to link the areas by maintaining the flow and connectivity of the room. A lowered ceiling/bulk head with recessed shadow lighting mirrors the floor space used for the two islands.

An overhead ceiling extractor was built into the bulk head and keeps the look clean as does the recessed tea station and media station. The steam oven, combination microwave oven, conventional oven and induction hob are taken care of by Siemens along with a Quooker hot tap and Leibher large scale refrigeration. Pull out larder units and deep wide drawers provide an abundance of storage in this family home.

This home was built based on a Schiffini Italian Design, it was considered to be cutting edge 20 years ago, by today’s standards it is still spectacular. The kitchen needed updating and a modern kitchen was what they were after.

This is a German Kitchen and has a unique sliding door system which when closed keeps the cooking appliances out of sight reinforcing the clean straight lines. Blackberry glass door fronts contrast with the crystal white handless door fronts. The back wall units are “floating” and are framed by a stud wall overhang with neon lighting. Ultra low profile corian worktops have been employed throughout.

A special extraction system was created that looked like the wall units on either side and blends in beautifully. There are no visable electrical sockets and the Quooker hot water tap makes kettles a thing of the past. This kitchen is timeless and bespoke pieces of contemporary design that not only looks incredible, but conceals a myraid of hidden features.

This is a stunning example of our latest range of in frame hand painted kitchens. This kitchen has a timeless feel of classic elegance and features a pantry, over mantel dining and breakfast bar area.

Hand painted tulipwood design; the client loved the idea of a traditional kitchen but was keen to integrate modern appliances and storage solutions. All the doors have a soft close function; drawers have handmade wooden cutlery trays and space dividers completing this beautiful piece of workmanship. The hand painted door fronts feature two subtly contrasting colours dove grey and antique white with accents of oak throughout. The pantry opens up to provide an array of shelves, drawers, spice shelves and there are pull out cutlery trays to keep your cutlery and cooking utensils at hand.

Modern day living demands formal and informal seating in the kitchen. The breakfast bar can seat up to four and the dining area includes media area. The cupboards features pull out dvd shelves and areas for ipods, phones and laptops; even the most traditional kitchens can suit the most modern of families!

This new build beautiful lake side home is in a spectacular location, the open plan kitchen dining area had to make the most of this stunning view.

The client wanted a tall bank of units, an island with seating and to maximise the view they had of the Lough. The biggest task was to design an island large enough to incorporate the hob, seating and storage needed whilst not compromising the space in the kitchen, dining and living areas. The wine cooler and coffee machine have been recessed into a wall panelling system and been streamlined into a natural recess in the wall.

The island has a lowered bulk head ceiling above it which incorporates ceiling extraction and recessed lighting. The lighting system is designed into the shadow gaps and the recessed lighting eliminates the use of harsh overhead lighting. Pull out larders and deep drawer provide an abundance of storage, pebble grey and wine red door fronts create a contrast of colours finished off with tobacco oak.

The living room furniture has been designed by Parkes Interiors to complete this kitchen living and dining room.

This stunning new build home was to look after a family with three young children; a child friendly design was top priority for these clients. They wanted a painted design with soft rounded edges that would be easy to maintain. As soon as they saw this grand deco design they fell in love with it.

The oak doors have been finished in Linen paint to provide a fresh contrast with the natural beauty of the walnut units, the simple door fronts and clean lines of the doors themselves offers a classic look. Three areas; cooking, living and dining areas have been incorporated separately yet harmoniously into the design for cooking, living and dining, Wall hung units create a blend of the three zones while the two different colours and thicknesses of corian have been employed to add a touch of contrast and to highlight the different areas in the kitchen. A convenient Quooker hot tap provides instant hot water for all this families requirements.

There are two island areas which are joined together by a beautiful walnut dining table; the round island provides convenient worktop space close to the fridge as well as additional storage. The island dining areas has become the most loved and used area in the house and comfortable seats six.
